The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority is holding a public consultation in Enfield, Haringey and Barnet next week to discuss proposals to close 12 fire stations, cut 18 fire engines and lose 520 firefighters. The public meeting is taking place on Thursday 18 April, 7pm at Grand Palace Banqueting Suite, 242 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8JX
The Draft Fifth London Safety Plan was launched at the beginning of March. Residents can also contribute to the consultation through the Fire Authority website, where more details are available.
It is important that we have our say on the proposals and I urge residents to attend the meeting on the 18th April, or fill in the consultation online.
