Join the march to save the Whittington tomorrow.

Tomorrow (Saturday 16th March) we will be marching again to show our concern over the proposed sell-off of the Whittington Hospital.

We are meeting at Highbury Corner, Holloway Road at 11.30am, come and join us!

The proposals include:

  • Loss of 580 jobs, including 220 nurses
  • Loss of one-third of the land which will be sold or demolished
  • Replacing an acute hospital with an A&E with community based health facilities

I have also written to the Secretary of State and the Chief Executive of the Whittington Trust Board along with Assembly Members Jennette Arnold and Andrew Dismore whose constituents will also be affected by these proposals.  Click on the links below to see the letters.
